The Fighting War Eagles defeated the Daingerfield Tigers last night, 41-30. The game really wasn't that close. Alijah played well again, playing both ways tonight (offense and defense), made his share of tackles starting at cornerback again, and ran the ball a few times. But his most impressive play was an option pass play with him throwing the ball and nearly completing it for a big gain had the receiver stayed in bounds. Aaliyah also performed with the cheerleaders last night as both groups were on the field last night. She performed well as usual. Great job, #1 Grandson and #1 Granddaughter!!!
